08-11 The Nuts had a great time at Batavia’s “Art in Your Eye Fest” last weekend. Thanks to Paul and Pam for making us feel welcome and Hix Bros for great sound! Next up, for the weekend of the 15th, the lads play a private party on Friday, a set at a benefit show for our friend Carlos Serrano in Sandwich on Saturday afternoon and than truck over to Rambo’s in Somonauk for a Saturday night show.
6-05-08 The Nuts found paradise . . . in the form of a neon cheeseburger. Thanks to John and the crew at Cheeseburger in Paradise in Des Plaines for making us feel welcome – we look forward to playing there again in August.
04-27-08 The summer gigging schedule kicks off with a show at Rambo’s on Saturday May 10, followed by a gig at the new Best Western Timber Creek Inn in Sandwich on May 24, a Memorial Day show on May 26 at the Waterfront Restaurant Sunset Beach Club in Lake Holiday and the lads will finish off the month of May with a Friday night show on May 30 at Jimmy Buffet’s Cheeseburger in Paradise Restaurant in Des Plains.
4-02-08 If you missed the gig at Old Tyme Inn last Saturday don’t despair – the Nuts we’ll be back at the Old Tyme Inn on June 21st for the Summer Solstice. In the interim, the Nuts will be traveling to Tibet to consult with their spiritual advisors as they begin to prepare their chi for the summer gigging schedule. Provided their Sherpa brings them back safely, the boys will be in Yorkville to play at the Stonefire Restaurant on Route 47 on Saturday April 26.
02-25-08 Last Saturday’s “Island Party” at Two Fools in LaSalle was a blast, it was our first time playing at Two Fools and we had a great time – thanks to “Gadget” and the Two Fools’ staff for making us feel welcome – a few photos from the show are up on the picture page. Next up, Coco and the lads play at Old Tyme Inn in Sandwich on Saturday March 29.
02-17-08 Rambo’s Annual Beach Party last Saturday night was a blast! Pictures from the gig (those suitable for pubic viewing) are on the picture page. We’re looking forward to playing again at Rambo’s in May. Next “the Nuts” head down to LaSalle to play at Two Fools bar this Saturday night (02/23) for Two Fools’ “Island Party”. . . come see three fools play at Two Fools.
01-27-08 The “Cocology World Tour 2008” rolls on . . . fresh from sold-out shows in London, Paris and New York the quasi-rastafarians sail to Somonauk to play at Rambo’s on Saturday February 16th for Rambo’s Annual Beach Party! Come out and help us take it to a higher vibration, mon.
01-01-08: Happy New Year from Coco and the Nuts! Thanks to all who came out to Old Tyme Inn for our “Christmas with Coco” gig. If you missed it, you missed the debut of our soon to be hit song “Cocology” -- composed by our own “Mozart” Mark Demian (a.k.a. “Coco”). We look forward to going back to the Olde Tyme Inn this March for a “Jimmy Buffet Night”. In the meantime, next up is Don Vito’s in Ottawa on January 26 – come join us for some great pizza from Don Vito and tuneages from Coco and the Nuts.
